Privacy policy
Seekly: AI Search & Filter is developed and operated by aoex ("we", "us").

1. Data we process
- Store data: your shop domain and an access token issued by Shopify when you install the app.
- Catalog data (read-only): products, variants, prices, availability, tags, types, vendors, images and collections, used to build your search index.
- Theme data (read-only): we only check whether the Seekly app embed is enabled on your published theme.
- Anonymous search analytics: search terms, number of results, clicked product and its position, with a timestamp.
2. Data we do not collect
We do not collect or store any personal data about your customers: no names, emails, addresses, orders, customer IDs, IP addresses, cookies or device identifiers. Analytics are not linked to any person.
3. Sub-processors
- Google Gemini API: product text and the first product image are sent to compute search embeddings and filter attributes; search queries are sent to compute query embeddings. No customer data is sent.
- Fly.io: hosting of the application and its database.
4. Retention and deletion
Search analytics are kept for 180 days. When you uninstall the app, all data related to your store (catalog index, settings, analytics, sessions) is deleted immediately. We also honor Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact). Database backups are deleted after 14 days, so deleted store data disappears from backups within that period.
5. Your rights
You may request access to or deletion of your store data at any time through the contact address listed on our Shopify App Store page. Shoppers' requests are handled through the merchant; as we hold no shopper data, there is nothing to export or erase.
