Terms of Service

Seekly: AI Search & Filter ("Seekly", "the app") is developed and operated by aoex ("we", "us").

1. Acceptance

By installing or using Seekly on your Shopify store, you agree to these terms and to the Shopify terms that apply to apps. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.

2. The service and pricing

Seekly adds AI-powered search, suggestions and filters to your online store through a theme app embed, plus synonyms, pinned results and search analytics in your Shopify admin. Seekly is free at launch. If paid plans are ever introduced, they will be announced in advance and billed only through Shopify, after your explicit approval.

3. Your data

You keep full ownership of your store data, including your catalog and search analytics. We only use it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy policy. All data related to your store is deleted when you uninstall the app, as described in that policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service: no attempts to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer or gain unauthorized access to it, no use for unlawful content or activities, and no reselling of the service without our written consent.

5. Theme app embed and uninstall

Seekly does not modify your theme code. The "Seekly search" app embed can be turned off at any time in your theme editor. When you uninstall the app, nothing is left in your theme and your store data is deleted.

6. No warranty

We work hard to keep Seekly fast and reliable, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Search results depend on your catalog data and on third-party services, and we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, aoex is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost sales or profits, arising from the use of or inability to use Seekly. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date above shows the latest version. For significant changes, we will give reasonable notice in the app or by email. Continuing to use Seekly after a change means you accept the updated terms.
